A Business Partner is a business or organization that sees the value in the ministry of Walk FM and chooses to offer their financial support to Walk FM on a short or long-term basis and in exchange is offered on-air announcements for their business or organization.

Walk FM Business Partners receive on-air announcements as a result of their support. The number of announcements depends upon the terms of their sponsorship agreement. Business Partners agreeing to support Walk FM for 3 or more months will also receive space on the Underwriter section of our website, where we list contact information and provide a graphic link to the supporter’s website, if applicable. Our on-air jocks drive our listeners to our website on a regular basis for more information on events, contests, etc and as a result our website is well traveled.

We can sum that up in two words……LOYAL LISTENERS! It’s true! Our listeners care about Walk FM, personally, as evidenced by regular calls and letters to the station sharing their experience and personal impact from our ministry. The result of this personal impact is a loyal listener…not just loyal to the music and its impact but one who cares about, and is often personally vested in, the on-going future of this ministry. As a result, our listeners keep their dials locked through the announcements so see what businesses are choosing to support the station that supports their life and values. Many business or organizations have had listeners just stop in, even if not needing their particular services, just to say “thanks” for supporting Walk FM. It should be noted that the wording of these announcements can be a bit different from a commercial station, depending on if your business or organization is for-profit or non-profit. The FCC regulates what non-commercial radio stations can say about commercial businesses in their announcements. Over the years, we have become experts on how to write non-profit radio announcements that meet your marketing and ministry goals as well as the regulations. So we focus on 3 things in our announcements; 1) who you are, 2) what services you provide and 3) how the listener can reach you for more information. These 3 things are really what can be absorbed in a 30-second spot and keeps your spot clear and concise! Non-profit announcements sound very much like what you might hear on a commercial radio station. If your organization is a Tax-exempt, 501 (c) (3), non-profit organizations (churches, most ministries, etc.), then these regulations do not apply.
