If I had to pick one quote to sum up Tested and Approved: 21 Lessons for Life and Ministry, it would be this:

ABOUT THE BOOK: 

Tom Lane began this book over twenty years ago as a legacy for his children. He wanted to personalize some of the life lessons he learned over the years to one day share them with his children and grandchildren. 

But, as he jotted down these principles and worked through each lesson with his friends, it became apparent to all who know Tom that these life lessons are practical for us all. 

Each lesson walks us through the ups and downs of everyday life as a Believer in a world that continually rejects our efforts. Being under constant scrutiny for our motives and actions has a way of wearing on us and can make us question why we even bother. 

But, it’s a little easier when there is someone who understands — someone who has been there and knows what to say to offer encouragement and hope…
