PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
On-Air Host and Donor Care Specialist is responsible for handling audio production for on-air content, and additional responsibilities that prep for on air shift. The Donor Care Specialist is responsible for helping with all things donor care and content from on air to web.
SCOPE
The On Air Host reports to the General Manager and facilitates the technical operation of their on air shift along with being coached and growing in this role.
The Donor Care Specialist reports to the General Manger and facilitates all aspects of helping our donors feel loved and valued and planning and executing events that show appreciation to our donors.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Prepare and produce audio for on air shift.
Main activities:
•. Represent the station at all required or requested events as On Air Host.
Absence from said events must be approved by GM in advance.

The On Air Host and Community Services Coordinator will spend long hours sitting and using office equipment and
computers, which can cause muscle strain. The On Air Host and Community Services Coordinator will also have to do some lifting of supplies and materials from time to time.

The incumbent is located in a busy, open area office. The incumbent is faced with constant interruptions and must meet with others on a regular basis.

The incumbent must spend long hours in intense concentration. The incumbent must also spend long hours on the computer entering financial information during FC which requires attention to detail and
high levels of accuracy.

There are a number of deadlines associated with this position, which may cause significant stress. The incumbent must also deal with a wide variety of people on various issues.
