My youngest grandson, who is 18 years old, has Type 1 diabetes, and the doctors in Roanoke, VA can't seem to get his sugar regulated. He watches his carbs, and his mother helps to manage his diet, but no matter what they do, he is always extremely high or low. He has an appt. with a doctor at Wake Forest, but it isn't until April. He actually left VA for college in NC on a swimming scholarship after his high school graduation, but had to return home after about a month due to his uncontrolled sugar. He has been swimming since he was three years old, his name is Connor, and I know he and my daughter would really appreciate your prayers.
