Here are a few guidelines for posting an event:

Thank you for your interested in posting your event to the Walk FM Community Calendar! To submit your event, please complete the following form. Fields with an * must be provided. If you have a website, please enter the full URL address including http/https. Allow 2 weeks prior to the date of your event for posting to the calendar.

If you need to edit or delete your event after it is submitted, please go to the “Submit Events” page and click on the “My Events” button. After your event is edited it will need to be moderated before it will appear on the calendar.

River Cities Community Church 4385 Route 60 East, Huntington, WV

River Cities Community Church is pleased to begin offering REFIT again! REFIT is a fitness class for women of all ages and fitness levels. Andrea Smith will lead the group every Tuesday and Thursday from 6 - 7 PM, beginning June 1st. The class is FREE! Park at the back of the church and use the RED door entrance. Celebration Recovery is a Biblically based, Christ centered, balanced program to help people recover from the hurts, hang-ups and habits that happen as we travel this life. Not designed only for those with substance use disorder, Celebrate Recovery is the place to be if the baggage of life is weighing you down. We need each other. Fellowship and accountability are two important components of spiritual growth. You will find both in this place. Light dinner at 6:15 for those participating, large group starts at 7:00. Child care is available for people attending groups.

American Foundation for Suicide Prevention – Mid Ohio Valley Out of the Darkness Walk

Parkersburg City Park Bandshell 1920 Park Ave, Parkersburg, WV

This is a walk to recognize those lost to suicide, provide support for those who have lost a loved one to suicide, and give encouragement to those who struggle with suicidal thoughts. Money that is raised goes towards education, research, and resources for those affected by suicide. In addition to the walk, there will be a variety of activities for both children and adults. While there is no cost to attend, walkers are encouraged to get donations prior to the walk.
