Here are a few guidelines for posting an event:
Thank you for your interested in posting your event to the Walk FM Community Calendar! To submit your event, please complete the following form. Fields with an * must be provided. If you have a website, please enter the full URL address including http/https. Allow 2 weeks prior to the date of your event for posting to the calendar.
If you need to edit or delete your event after it is submitted, please go to the “Submit Events” page and click on the “My Events” button. After your event is edited it will need to be moderated before it will appear on the calendar.

Grief Support Group

An event every week that begins at 6:30 pm on Tuesday, repeating until November 28, 2023
Have you ever lost a spouse, a child, family member, or friend? Then, you have probably found there are only a few people who understand the deep hurt you feel. Losing a job, a financial loss, and the loss of a family pet, can cause sizable grief for some. Grief can be a confusing time leaving a person to feel isolated and provide many questions about things they’ve never faced before.
A grief support group using the resources of GriefShare is currently meeting in person weekly through November at the First Church of the Nazarene, located at 1110 First Avenue, Gallipolis, Ohio.
Each GriefShare session has three distinct elements: video seminar from experts, support group discussion, and personal study with reflection. $20 offers the attendee a workbook with resources for the session and personal follow up tools on the weekly topic. If the $20 price tag could be a deterrent to participate, we have experienced a generous donation to assist us with scholarships upon request.
