28 Jul Blunders to Blessings

The most consistent part of my life is my ability to blunder.

Mostly little things, but I do manage some doozies.

Nothing I really feel the need to confess right now, but, stay tuned, you never know where this thing might end up!!

It’s pretty easy to share the little things. At least they’re usually good for a laugh.

But the big things…those we hide in the deepest part of our psyche and pray they never surface.

But, sharing faults is essential.

It keeps us humble, yes, but it also shows others what God has brought us through and gives us a way to connect others to Jesus.

Think about it. If you have something you use to struggle with or something you did or maybe even still do, burying it behind guilt and shame allows it to hold you prisoner gives satan a foothold in your life.

Releasing it to God frees you from shame and allows you to redeem it through Him.

This doesn’t mean you have to broadcast your dirty secrets.

Just be open and honest with God. He already knows anyway. Offer it to Him as a sacrifice and trust Him to guide you to share your story with the people who would benefit from hearing it.

In God’s hands, your small sacrifice of self can bring hope and healing to a crowd of people who may not listen otherwise.

Don’t let satan continue to beat you up over a mistake that Christ has already forgiven. Redeem it through the merciful blood of Jesus Christ and turn that blunder into someone’s blessing!
