Be Still

I don’t know what to say.

And, sometimes, that’s for the best…

…because it’s in those moments that I’m prone to listen, and watch, and yield.

“Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!” (Psalm 46:10)

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. Be not wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord, and turn away from evil. It will be healing to your flesh and refreshment to your bones.” (Proverbs 3:5-8)

Quiet our hearts and minds, Lord Jesus.

Help us to rest in Your presence, Your timing, Your truth.

In Jesus Name, Amen.
